Fear of responsibility and the school of life.
Life-long learning is a life in constant learning, evolution and change.
Personal learning and evolution causes your life to change.
Looking back at the changes in your life you see what you have learned so far.
A life in constant change is a life of constantly making new choices and being fully
responsible for their potential consequences, being fully accountable.
If you have learned to fear change, and find yourself in a state of stagnation,
the underlying cause may be fear of responsibility.
Fear of responsibility can cause you to choose not to make your own choices.
Other peoples choices will fill the void that you leave behind, and you will not be living your own life.
Having a noble concern for the consequences that your creative activities may have for the
world around you, is a part of your human nature.
This concern combined with fear of responsibility however, can prevent you from using your
creative ability all together, as you fear being held responsible for the consequences that your
creative activities may have. You can become very passive and unable to contribute.
The school of life has a very large number of deeply irresponsible pupils.
They believe that they are free of responsibility as long as they do as everyone else does.
They are constantly looking for outer causes to their inner state, and will often claim not to
have any choice, not to have any “free will”.
A will is something that makes choices. A will not capable of making choices would be your own invention.
Your options are not by far as limited as you may choose to think.
The school of life teaches responsibility (accountability) as its main course.
This is why it has so many deeply irresponsible pupils - they have simply come to the right place.
You learn almost entirely by consequence, and the teaching takes the form of a very large number
of consequences. They are small at first, but if you resist learning, the consequences just get bigger.
Most consequences are purely emotional, and your body acts as an emotional amplifier.
Every emotion that you experience in your emotional consciousness has a physical aspect.
Physical consequences are amplified by your body´s sensitivity and fragility.
Your body has the job of making both emotional and physical consequences very clear to you.
Positive and negative consequences are amplified equally, so that you can easily experience the difference.
Every day has a potential reward for you.
Every day you experience this connection:
motivation → choice/action → consequence → responsibility.
Choice and action are one. You make the choice in the same moment that you take action.
With time you develop a natural and relaxed awareness of this connection – an awareness that is
not based on fear. This awareness is integrated into your entire being – you take it with you.
How much time you need to do this is totally up to you. You can take the course as many times
as you need to, and the consequences can be just as intense as you need them to be.
Consequence awareness + loving intention = true accountability
A loving intention alone does not make you accountable.
Being accountable means that you can be trusted, even when you make mistakes, and that you
are well suited to be a co-creator and take active part in a creation that is much bigger than yourself.
If your fear of responsibility is keeping you from fully using your creative abilities,
then you have come to the right place.
The school of life educates creators!
